چکیده
Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine whether zinc phosphate treatments tomato plants ( Solanum lycopersicum L.) can attenuate bacterial speck disease severity through reduction Pseudomonas syringae pv. Pst ) growth in planta and induce morphological biochemical plant defence responses. Tomato were treated with 10 ppm (25.90 µM) then spray inoculated strain DAPP-PG 215, race 0 . Disease symptoms recorded as chlorosis and/or necrosis per leaf (%) numbers necrotic spots. Soil protected susceptible against , reductions both pathogen combined significantly higher levels zinc-phosphate-treated indicated direct antimicrobial toxicity microelement, also confirmed by vitro assays. Morphological i e callose apposition) ., expression salicylic-acid-dependent pathogenesis-related protein PR1b1 gene) responses induced the treatment, demonstrated histochemical qPCR analyses, respectively. In conclusion, soil protect attacks activity induction

Resistance Inducers Modulate Pseudomonas syringae pv. Tomato Strain DC3000 Response in Tomato Plants
The efficacy of hexanoic acid (Hx) as an inducer of resistance in tomato plants against Pseudomonas syringae pv. tomato DC3000 was previously demonstrated, and the plant response was characterized. Because little is known about the reaction of the pathogen to this effect, the goal of the present work was to determine whether the changes in the plant defence system affect the pathogen behaviour....
متن کاملNH4 + protects tomato plants against Pseudomonas syringae by activation of systemic acquired acclimation
NH4 (+) nutrition provokes mild toxicity by enhancing H2O2 accumulation, which acts as a signal activating systemic acquired acclimation (SAA). Until now, induced resistance mechanisms in response to an abiotic stimulus and related to SAA were only reported for exposure to a subsequent abiotic stress. Herein, the first evidence is provided that this acclimation to an abiotic stimulus induces re...

متن کاملNovel virulence gene of Pseudomonas syringae pv. tomato strain DC3000.
Previously, we conducted a mutant screen of Pseudomonas syringae pv. tomato strain DC3000 to identify genes that contribute to virulence on Arabidopsis thaliana plants. Here we describe the characterization of one mutant strain, DB4H2, which contains a single Tn5 insertion in PSPTO3576, an open reading frame that is predicted to encode a protein belonging to the TetR family of transcriptional r...
متن کاملComparison of the complete genome sequences of Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae B728a and pv. tomato DC3000.
The complete genomic sequence of Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae B728a (Pss B728a) has been determined and is compared with that of P. syringae pv. tomato DC3000 (Pst DC3000). The two pathovars of this economically important species of plant pathogenic bacteria differ in host range and other interactions with plants, with Pss having a more pronounced epiphytic stage of growth and higher abiot...
